Rain and knitting

It's raining, for the first time in quite a while. The SF Bay Area is usually dry, so this is very nice!

We're out, looking for rain and lunch. While Geordie drives, I'm working on a gift for his car-pool buddy's wife. She likes fancy things, so I'm knitting her a scarf from the softest chenille in the world.

I have two balls, so I only have about 80 yards. It will be long enough, I think. One ball has given me about two feet!
